In this previous video, we are giving you information about the initial verses that are mentioned in the Prashnottara Ratna Malika of Shri Adi Shankaracharya.<br /><br />Don't forget to Share, Like & Comment on this video<br /><br />Subscribe Our Channel Artha : https://goo.gl/22PtcY <br /><br />1 The very first introductory verse from the Prashnottara Ratna Malika is as follows;<br /><br />|| Kah Khalu Naalaakrayat Drusht-Adrusht-Ath-Saadhan-Pataayaan |<br /><br />Asuya Kanthasthitaya Prashn-Uttar-Ratnamalika ||<br /><br />2 Here Shri Adi Shankaracharya is trying to say that;<br /><br />The seeker should not only keep this Gem-Garland of Questions and Answers with them, but memorize it for ready reference as it is the foremost means to obtaining the seen and the unseen goals (of life)!<br /><br />3 After which the chain of question and answers start with this verse;<br /><br />|| Bhagavan! Kim Upadeyam? ||<br /><br />4 The rough translation of this verse is;<br /><br />O Lord! Which is to be taken?<br /><br />5 In answer to this query, Shankaracharya said;<br /><br />|| Guru Vachanam ||<br /><br />6 In this verse, Shankaracharya advised the followers to consider the utterances of the preceptor (Guru).<br /><br />7 Any innocent seeker of knowledge can easily get confused (rather misguided) in this world that is full of ideologies.
